The Aspire Vogue Lightweight Aluminium Walker is designed for users who, due to a range of reasons, require extra support while walking. This walker should be used as a tool to assist users who have mobility difficulties with standing, walking, or sitting independently. Designed for indoor and limited outdoor use. When being used outdoors this walker must remain on sealed, level terrain (examples include, but not limited to medical centers, shopping centers, flat and level footpaths, and environments with accessibility-focused layouts. Any other usage outside of the intended use is not advised.

Instructions

Brakes can be engaged with only slight force required using palmer grasp. To lock brakes in place, user requires ability to push brake handles downwards through bilateral upper limbs. To disengage brake lock, user requires ability to extend fingers to reach brake handles and slight force is required using palmer grasp. Users who experience difficulty fully extending fingers to open hand may have difficulty completing this action. Everyday task examples of similar grasp strength required: using garden secateurs, picking up a full 600ml bottle of water.

User may require assistance if needing to increase or decrease height of handgrips. 3-finger pincer grasp and wrist rotation is required to loosen and tighten handle of bolts securing section of walker to alter handgrip height. Moderate balance is required to lift handgrip in one hand to desired height, while tightening bolt handle with opposing hand.
